With a professional guide and a cozy heated snowcat to whisk you up the mountain, you'll get to experience the magic of the backcountry in a controlled environment. You'll learn the rhythm of cat skiing, the etiquette, and you'll discover what it feels like to float through pristine powder far from the resort crowds. Fair warning though: once you experience the magic of skiing or riding untouched lines with this crew, regular resort skiing might never feel quite the same!

Meet Your Host, Tana

Hi! I'm Tana Hoffman Cook, the founder of ILLA, and I'm also a passionate backcountry snowboarder and snowmobiler! After years of exploring these mountains and helping hundreds of women discover new outdoor sports, I know firsthand how life-changing that first backcountry experience can be. The #1 goal of this day is to have a TON of fun, and I promise that you will! I'll be there to help coordinate the day, take plenty of photos, and make sure everyone feels comfortable and supported as they venture into new terrain.
